The USC Trojans and the UCLA Bruins battled it out for the Victory Bell rivalry football game at the LA Colosseum. These two teams have been rivals for 95 years and always put on a show; this year was no different, as the USC Trojans defeated UCLA 29-10 on Nov. 29.
Jacob Abrego (11) attended the game with his close friend Miguel Vera. They are both USC fans, and Abrego shared his thoughts on the game’s outcome.

“I’m glad they won, not that close of a game because UCLA is not that good compared to USC,” Abrego said.
Karlett Morales (12) is a huge USC fan, particularly because her brother is a student there. She described her time at the USC vs. UCLA game and explained what stood out to her most.

“Meeting both UCLA people and USC people to come together and just have fun together was very cool, and everyone put in their best fight during the game. I didn’t stay for the whole game, but we were mainly there to tailgate, and I enjoyed that with both of my brothers,” Morales said.
Elise Huang (9) also attended the game as a USC fan and shared her thoughts about UCLA leading the game into halftime.
“I was mad because USC could’ve had some smarter plays in the first half, and I was worried that they wouldn’t come back, but they did and pulled through to win the game,” Huang said.
