Starbucks launches their spring menu featuring flavors such as lavender, coconut and ube. Customers can customize their drinks, especially in iced and cold foam forms. This season, Starbucks is drawing inspiration from Filipino culture for its newest menu additions. Here are my spring menu recommendations, ranked from the ones you can skip to the ones worth ordering.
Iced Ube Coconut Macchiato
The drink consists of 2% milk, roasted coconut flakes, two shots of espresso, signature espresso, three pumps of toasted coconut syrup, and ube coconut cream cold foam. The drink was a disappointment. The coffee completely overpowered the taste of the ube cold foam. For a stronger taste of ube, I think a better choice would be the vanilla creme frappuccino with ube cold foam.

Toasted Coconut Cream Cold Brew
This drink is made with roasted coconut flakes, two pumps of vanilla syrup, and roasted coconut cream cold foam. The coconut flavor was more of a subtle hint rather than an equal taste with the cold brew, but if you prefer it that way, this drink would be perfect.
Rating-2/5
Iced Lavender Creme Chai
This drink has 2% milk, four pumps of chai, four pumps of classic syrup, and lavender creme cold foam. It’s a classic drink with a hint of that flowery taste that truly gives you the spring feeling. The taste of the lavender and chai mixed perfectly together getting you that cinnamon and lavender flavor.

Lavender Creme Frappuccino Blended
This drink is whole milk, whipped creme, two pumps of vanilla syrup, and three scoops of lavender powder. The lavender flavor takes the lead, largely overpowering the vanilla taste. If you are a lavender lover then this is the drink for you, it really accentuates that floral flavor.
Rating- 3/5
Iced Lavender Creme Matcha
This drink contains 2% milk, three scoops of matcha powder, three pumps of classic syrup, and lavender cream cold foam. The drink was delicious and one of my favorites. The lavender flavor was not as equal with the matcha and more of a hint. The drink was extremely delightful- it was so good I finished it on the spot.
Rating-4/5
Iced Lavender Latte
This drink includes 2% milk, two shots of espresso, blonde espresso, and three scoops of lavender powder. The flavor of the lavender was very subtle, much like the pumpkin spice latte they offer on their fall menu, but its flattering taste paired well with the coffee.
