June 28, 2024, marked the rise of the all-girl group KATSEYE. Debuting with the song, “Debut” (캣츠아이), hitting over 200 million streams on Spotify. They immediately gained global reach through their music, dance performances, and online presence. Their appearance on the reality TV show “Dream Academy” also played a major role in their rise to fame.
The group contains six members- Daniella Avanzini, Sophia Laforteza, Megan Skiendiel, Lara Raj, Manon Bannerman, and Yoonchae Jeung- each contributing unique skills and personalities that shape the group’s chemistry.
Teen Magazine said, “Instead of forming another K-pop group based only in Korea, KATSEYE would be an international girl group, representing diverse cultures and languages while uniting under one vision of global pop.”
Despite having released only a few songs, KATSEYE communicates with fans in a way that makes their music highly relatable and easy to connect with.

Forbes said, “Girl group Katseye, whose viral Gap jeans ad dominated TikTok and sparked a dance trend, ranked as the most popular musical artist on TikTok this year, according to the social media app.”
In the past year, they announced and completed their first North American tour, titled “The Beautiful Chaos.” Initially scheduled for 13 shows, the tour sold out during presale, leading to three additional dates. Social media buzzed with fans claiming the group’s energy and performances were phenomenal, with many expressing they couldn’t wait for the next show.
