On Dec. 3, 2025, Spotify released their annual “Wrapped.” This is a personalized in-app event where Spotify gathers all of their user’s listening stats, and transforms it into an engagable breakdown that Spotify listeners look forward to seeing each year.
One of the millions of users who saw their Spotify Wrapped this year was Frank Robles (9), whose top artist this year was none other than famous rapper and producer, Tyler, The Creator.
“I am very happy that Tyler was my top artist this year- one day I randomly started listening to him, and I’ve loved his music since,” Robles said.
Adrienne Covarrubias (12) said her top artist of this year was the “Champagne Coast” band, Blood Orange. She also listened to other artists like Sufjan Stevens, and Lana Del Rey, who held Covarrubias’ number one spot on her list for top albums with her album “Blue Banisters.” She was pleased with her stats this year, and talked about what she looks forward to in her Spotify Wrapped.
“Every year, I am excited to see my top songs, and how many minutes I listened to in a year, because I think it is really interesting and cool,” Covarrubias said.
Behind the amazing artists and engaging music are also users who love to express themselves through the songs they listen to. Janice Djajadi (9) feels that the music she listens to reflects her personality. “[Listening to certain music] indirectly shows [me] what [I] enjoy, [and can show others] from [their] experiences and associations with the sounds of the music and [meaning behind] the lyrics,” Djajadi said.
