With Halloween around the corner, students are getting into the fall spirit. From pumpkin carving and costumes to spooky amusement parks and parties, there are tons of festivities to enjoy. Here’s what senior students have been doing this autumn.
Isabella Quinones (12) explained that, for Halloween, she’s most excited about her and her boyfriend dressing up as Anakin and Padme. Quinones also shared that she threw a Halloween party the first weekend of October and explained what she liked most about that day.

“My favorite part was seeing everyone getting ready before and then seeing them post [online], because I was just excited that they were excited to go, and for that night I dressed up as a peacock,” Quinones said.
Daniel Morales (12) has kept active this fall by visiting pumpkin patches with his girlfriend and hosting a party for his friends. As for the holiday, he explained what he did for his last Halloween as a high schooler.

“On Halloween day I spent time with my family and I went trick or treating with my little brother because I knew this would be one of my last years with him since I’ll be going off to college, and I also spent some time with my girlfriend’s family,” Morales said.
Jannelle Ferreyra (12) explained that she enjoys fall and its weather, but she’s mainly excited for Halloween because she can’t wait to dress up and wear many costumes. While looking forward to Halloween, she also explained how she’s been enjoying the spooky season.

“I went to Halloween Horror Nights with my whole family, and we got the R.I.P. tour and we got to go in every single maze,” Ferreyra said. “We got to go on a couple of rides, we saw Terrifier a lot, which was kind of scary, but it was a fun and nice experience. It was definitely scarier than last year.”
Javier Ferreyra (12) explained that he is mainly excited for dressing up, trick or treating, and hanging out with his family, friends, and his girlfriend during Halloween. Of all the Halloween activities Ferreyra participated in this year, he shared the one memory that meant the most to him.

“In order to prepare for Halloween, I carved pumpkins with my family and my niece. My niece experienced it for the first time, and she didn’t know what she was doing so she kept playing with it and we kept letting her get her way. It was really nice seeing her enjoy it and see her this little,” Ferreyra said.
