There is a whole other world outside of the hills. Some Huskies were fortunate enough to experience it during their spring break. From traveling outside of the country to traveling within the states, Huskies talked about their experiences.

Aliana Angulo (12) went to Barcelona and Paris during spring break. She did multiple activities such as sightseeing and shopping. She commented that her experience was very fun and beautiful and expressed how she had a splendid time.

“It was very different. It was very fun. Just the environment was really good and the people were really nice,” Aliana said.

Andrea Fernandez (9) traveled throughout Europe for her spring break. Ever since she was a little girl it had always been a dream for her and over  spring break that dream came true. She did multiple activities such as sightseeing and trying new foods.

“I definitely had a lot of fun. I saw a lot of really cool stuff. Lots of famous sites like the Eiffel Tower and London Bridge,” Fernandez said.

Ozzy Ayala (9) traveled to Hawaii for spring break for a family vacation. Ayala had a great time surfing and hanging out with his family. He enjoyed the culture of the Hawaiian people and the experience of the trip.

“Hanging out with my family and friends was nice. I had a lot of fun. We went surfing everyday and I went to a luau which was pretty cool, you know seeing the people was cool,” Ayala said.

Abraham Lacayo (11) had the chance to travel to Miami during spring break to visit his family and friends. Lacayo had a good time at the beach, eating different types of food, and trying different things. He also had the opportunity to watch Inter Miami play at home.

“I went to watch Messi play. I went to watch the Inter Miami game versus Monterrey from Mexico. It was nice but sadly we lost 2-1. It was very interesting to see Messi play,” Lacayo said.
