From oversized sweaters to flannel shirts, down to pretty skirts and stylish boots, this season is a perfect chance to play with fashion and get creative with new fall looks.
As fall weather settles in, students like Andrea Morales (12) are recreating their wardrobes with pieces that balance comfort and style.
“My must-have clothing items for this fall are comfy long sleeves or plaid button-up long sleeves, long skirts, and fluffy cozy sweaters,” Morales said.
While students embrace the cozy vibes of fall fashion, the right pair of shoes is just as important as any skirt or cute sweater. Samuel Barajas (10) expressed his go-to shoe this season.
“My favorite footwear for this fall are probably my Uggs, I’ve been wearing my Uggs a lot,” Barajas said.
Color trends for Fall 2024 have shifted towards vivid and comforting tones. This season, expect to see earthy shades paired with a few vibrant pops of color. Justin Jones (10) shared his color scheme for this fall.
“I like to wear earth tones, like brown, beige and green because its fall,” Jones said.
Accessories like rings, necklaces, scarves, and belts are becoming the key to completing fall outfits. Vivian Rowley (11) expressed what has enhanced her fall outfits this season.
“Cute hats and scarves are what I most use to enhance my outfits, along with different types of boots as the weather gets colder,” Rowley said.
Students at South Hills are making the most of the cold season with fashionable, cozy looks that reflect their unique styles. With every new outfit, it’s clear that creativity is in full bloom this season.
