Rihanna, the chosen singer for Superbowl LVI hovers in the air as she ends her performance with “Shine Bright Like a Diamond” in Glendale, Arizona.

Eight years and a newborn baby later, Rihanna decides to take the stage once again with a mindblowing comeback.

“If I’m going to leave my baby, I’m going to leave my baby for something special,” Rihanna said.

It was one of the most anticipated halftime shows of all time. Fans have shared they were more excited about her 15-minute concert than the super bowl game itself.

“Most of the halftime songs she performed brought back fun family memories,” senior Isabella Moreno said.

The grammy singer opened with “B**** Better Have My Money” followed by fan’s favorite “Where Have You Been.” She looked stunning in red while hovering over the crowd in the middle of the stadium. Fireworks shot out in the sky while singing more classics such as “We Found Love” and “Only Girl In The World.”

“I liked the fact that each time she said “Shine Bright Like a Diamond” the stadium lights would flash and fireworks would shoot out into the sky,” freshmen Tommy Meza-Morris said.

Rihanna proudly showed off her baby bump silently announcing she was pregnant with her second baby. However, another guest she brought was Fenty Beauty by Rihanna herself while doing a touch-up.

“I was happy and excited because she just had her baby and it was really shocking but I thought it was super cute how she announced it by showing everyone who is a fan of football and her,” senior Estrella Morales said.

“Shine Bright Like a Diamond” was the chosen song to close off her performance. Rihanna continues to show us why she is a musical queen as she ends her comeback show. She then returns back to running her beauty empire with a new baby on the way.

“I choose to be happy,” Rihanna said.
